Job summary

Vecmocon is seeking a logistics professional in Dadri, India, to manage end-to-end inbound and outbound operations. You will plan and coordinate transportation for materials, components, and finished goods across multiple locations, while liaising with transporters, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.

Key responsibilities include monitoring shipment schedules, reducing costs, and resolving shipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound domestic logistics operations.
• Plan and coordinate transportation of materials, components, and finished goods across locations.
• Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, and logistics service providers.
• Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, PODs, and transportation costs.
• Ensure timely movement of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Resolve transportation, delivery, and shipment-related issues.
• Manage international import and export shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, airlines, and overseas vendors/customers.
• Handle air, sea, and courier shipments based on business requirements.
• Manage import/export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Shipping Bill, Bill of Entry, and other required documents.
• Coordinate customs clearance and ensure timely clearance of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable import/export regulations, customs requirements, and trade documentation.
• Track international shipments and proactively resolve delays or clearance issues.
• Plan logistics requirements based on procurement, production, sales, and project schedules.
