• Operations Oversight: Manage transportation networks, warehouse storage, and inventory flow to ensure on-time, cost-effective product delivery.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and rates with freight brokers, carriers, and 3PL providers.
• Performance Optimization: Establish and track KPIs to identify bottlenecks, reduce lead times, and streamline order cycles.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor logistics staff, warehouse managers, and supply chain coordinators.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all shipping and warehousing activities comply with safety standards, international trade laws, and industry regulations.
