Job summary

Clariant Power System Limited is seeking a logistics/dispatch professional to manage import and export shipments, coordinating inbound/outbound logistics for electrical panels and components. You will collaborate with production, procurement, stores, sales and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation.

The role requires 2–5 years in logistics with knowledge of GST, e-way bills, and invoicing, along with good Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics/dispatch, preferably in electrical, engineering, panel manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
• Good knowledge of transportation and dispatch documentation (GST, e-way bills, LR/GR, POD, invoicing).
• Good Excel/ERP skills; experience with SAP/Tally/other ERP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle import & export shipment activities.
• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for electrical panels, components, and raw materials.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, stores, sales and dispatch teams to ensure material availability and on-time deliveries.
• Arrange vehicles and coordinate with transporters for local and interstate shipments.
• Prepare and verify dispatch documents (delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, LR/GR, packing lists).
• Coordinate loading/unloading of panels and ensure safe packing to prevent damage.
• Track vehicle movements and provide delivery status/ETA to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain dispatch records, transporter details, freight costs, PODs, and delivery status.

Role & responsibilities

• Import & Export Shipment handling.
• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for electrical panels, components, and raw materials.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, stores, sales, and dispatch teams to ensure material availability and on-time deliveries.
• Arrange vehicles and coordinate with transporters for local and interstate shipments.
• Prepare and verify delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, LR/GR, packing lists, and other dispatch documents.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of electrical panels and ensure proper packing and handling to prevent damage.
• Track vehicle movements and provide delivery status/ETA to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain records of dispatches, transporter details, freight costs, PODs, and delivery status.
• Follow up with transporters for delayed shipments and resolve delivery-related issues.
• Coordinate POD collection and submission to accounts/customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable transportation/GST documentation requirements.
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to reduce freight and transportation expenses.
• Coordinate with stores for material receipts, shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
• Maintain logistics MIS reports such as daily dispatch, pending deliveries, freight, vehicle utilization, and transporter performance.
• Support stock transfers between plants/warehouses when required.
• Ensure safe handling and transportation of large, heavy, and customized electrical panels.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics/dispatch, preferably in electrical, engineering, panel manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
• Good knowledge of transportation and dispatch documentation.
• Working knowledge of GST, e-way bills, LR/GR, POD, and invoicing.
• Good Excel/ERP skills; experience with SAP/Tally/other ERP is an advantage.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with transporters, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safe packing and handling of industrial/electrical equipment is preferred.
