Job summary

Delhivery is seeking a logistics supervisor to oversee daily parcel arrivals and dispatches, supervise riders, loaders, and sorters, and ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliation of COD, POD, and pending shipments.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with strict adherence to SOPs and ongoing facility audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily parcel arrivals and dispatches while managing floor-level unloading and loading processes.
• Directly supervising delivery riders, loaders, and package sorters by monitoring attendance, shift schedules, and assigning delivery routes.
• Performing End of Day system checks to reconcile COD collections, POD, and pending shipments.
• Identifying and documenting DEPS during scanning and ensuring immediate tracking escalation.
• Adhering to Delhivery's SOPs and conducting facility layout audits.

Role & responsibilities

• Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Overseeing daily parcel arrivals and dispatches while managing floor-level unloading and loading processes.
• Team Handling: Directly supervising delivery riders, loaders, and package sorters by monitoring attendance, shift schedules, and assigning delivery routes.
• System Operations (EOD Execution): Performing End of Day system checks to reconcile cash‑on‑delivery (COD) collections, proof of deliveries (POD), and pending shipments.
• DEPS Management: Identifying and documenting issues like Damage, Extra, Pilferage, or Shortage (DEPS) during scanning, ensuring immediate tracking escalation.
• SOP & Audit Compliance: Adhering strictly to Delhivery’s standard operating procedures for bag handling, sorting, and conducting facility layout audits.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred.
• Must be willing to work in flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
