Job summary

UPM is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our Delhi team. The role focuses on coordinating transportation, warehousing and inventory management while optimizing routes and carriers to reduce costs and improve service levels.

You will track shipments, prepare documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvements in our logistics network.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics/supply chain within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of import/export and customs regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Customer-focused with problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing and inventory management.
• Optimize shipping routes, modes and carriers to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Track and trace shipments and resolve delays or issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs declarations and invoices.
• Analyze logistics data to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations.
• Participate in contracting with logistics service providers.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports to management.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures within logistics operations.
