The ideal candidate has 2+ years of mortgage lock desk or secondary marketing experience, a solid understanding of rate locks and investor guidelines, and is proficient with Encompass LOS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years mortgage lock desk or secondary marketing experience.
• Strong understanding of rate locks, extensions, and investor guidelines.
• Experience with Encompass LOS (required).
• Familiarity with PPEs and hedge platforms (EPPS, Polly, Optimal Blue, etc.) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily rate locks, extensions, renegotiations, and relocks.
• Ensure lock accuracy and compliance with investor and company guidelines.
• Monitor pipeline activity and assist with hedge coverage as needed.
• Communicate effectively with Loan Officers, Account Executives, and Operations.
• Maintain pricing updates and distribute rate sheets as required.
• Support secondary marketing and capital markets initiatives.
• Troubleshoot lock issues and resolve pricing discrepancies.
• Assist with market updates and lock guidance when requested.
