Job summary

Ashiana Housing in Jharkhand, Jamshedpur, is seeking a senior civil engineer with 18-25 years of site experience to lead multi-storey housing projects across locations. You will manage planning, estimation, scheduling, cost control and team building to ensure on-time delivery.

You will analyse estimates, supervise safety and compliance, coordinate with consultants to devise cost-effective designs, and mentor project management engineers.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineer with 18-25 years of experience and a full-time BE/BTech from REC or equivalent.

• Minimum 5-7 years of site execution experience across multiple locations (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Execution of multistorey group housing projects (5–50 acres) including planning, estimation, scheduling, team selection, quality & cost control.
• Analyse and approve estimates, labour rates, item rates, and monitor construction costs.
• Develop methods and checklists; conduct periodic site audits to ensure guidelines, quality and safety.
• Coordinate with consultants and architectural team to prepare cost-effective, easy-to-execute designs.
• Hire, coach and mentor a team of project management engineers.
• Audit project compliance with BIS Codes, NBC guidelines, building byelaws and environmental/labor laws.
• Ensure optimal man–material–machine strength on site for timely delivery; monitor daily and monthly reports with site visits.
• Hands-on knowledge of ERP, AutoCAD, MS Projects and MS Excel.

• Analyse & approve estimates, labor rates, item rates etc & monitor construction costs.
• Develop and implement methods, construction checklists & conduct periodic audits at site to check adherence to construction guidelines & standards, quality, and safety measures for consistent operations across locations.
• Coordinate with consultants, services & architectural team to prepare a cost-effective design which is easy to execute & maintain.
• Will be responsible to hire, coach & mentor a team of project management engineers.
• Audit project compliances as per relevant BIS Codes & NBC guidelines, building byelaws, environmental & labor laws etc.
• Ensure optimal strength of man, material & machine on site to for timely delivery & monitor daily, monthly reports with periodic site visits.
• Hands on knowledge of ERP software's, AutoCAD and MS Projects & MS Excel.

Preferred candidate profile
