Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Loan Officer role based in Samastipur. The Loan Officer will meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their credit needs, explain loan products, and guide them through the application process. Daily responsibilities include collecting and reviewing financial documentation, assessing eligibility, and preparing loan files for underwriting and approval. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely loan processing, maintaining accurate records, and complying with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Loan Officer will also provide ongoing customer service, address client inquiries, and support portfolio quality through regular follow-ups and risk awareness.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in finance and basic accounting principles, with the ability to analyze financial statements and creditworthiness.
• Experience or knowledge related to Loan Officers and loan origination processes, including application intake and documentation.
• Understanding of underwriting concepts and risk assessment to support sound lending decisions.
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and manage client relationships professionally.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and familiarity with MS Office or loan management software.
• Ability to work on-site in Samastipur, manage time effectively, and handle multiple applications simultaneously.
• Prior experience in lending, banking, or NBFC environments is an advantage.
• Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field preferred.
