Job summary

Hyrix in Mumbai seeks a Live Underwriter to assess Non-QM US mortgage loans during night shifts. You will calculate income, review bank statements, and underwrite per investor guidelines, coordinating across teams for timely processing.

Required 2–4 years in live mortgage underwriting with Non-QM experience; Encompass LOS expertise is a plus. relocation accommodation is offered for candidates moving to Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of live mortgage underwriting experience.
• Mandatory Non-QM underwriting experience.
• Proficient in credit risk assessment and income calculation.
• Experience with Encompass LOS and full documentation loans.
• Good communication and coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Non-QM mortgage loans per investor guidelines.
• Perform credit risk assessment using the 4 Cs of credit.
• Calculate income for salaried and self-employed borrowers.
• Review appraisals, title, liens and ownership documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely loan processing.
