Job summary

Guideline Inc is hiring for Live Underwriting (Non QM loans) in Mumbai, India, for US mortgage night shift (6:30pm–6:30am) with work-from-office setup. Role requires 2–4 years of live mortgage underwriting experience and mandatory Non-QM underwriting expertise.

Key responsibilities include income calculations, credit risk assessment, loan structuring, and coordination with internal teams using Encompass LOS. Relocation accommodation available; cab/travel allowances provided.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in Non-QM Underwriting.
• 2 to 4 years of Live Mortgage Underwriting experience.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit risk assessment using the 4Cs of Credit.
• Calculate income for Salaried and Self-Employed borrowers.
• Underwrite Bank Statement and Full Documentation loans.
• Evaluate loan eligibility and structure mortgage transactions.
• Review appraisal reports, title documents, lien positions, and ownership documents.
• Make underwriting decisions based on investor guidelines.
• Work on Encompass LOS.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely loan processing.
