Linxon seeks an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise Linux environments, patching, Azure integration, and infrastructure services. The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting in mission-critical settings and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux administration in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with patching, vulnerability remediation and hardening.
• Knowledge of shell scripting and automation tools.
• Basic Azure administration experience and virtualization knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux operating systems including RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS etc.
• Perform server installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Execute Linux patching and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Support Azure Linux Virtual Machines and infrastructure services.
• Monitor Linux servers, applications, and infrastructure performance.
• Manage user access, file systems, security settings, and system hardening.
• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting and automation tools.
• Maintain operational documentation and technical procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Manage virtualization environments using Nutanix AHV.
