SHI in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Linux Administrator to manage OS installation and configuration, troubleshoot issues, and provide strong operational support across desktop and server environments. The role requires hands-on Linux experience, RHCE/RHCSA certifications, and comfort with 24x7 shifts.

You will handle user management, network configuration, driver setup, and printer sharing, while ensuring ticketed issues are documented and escalated appropriately.

Competenze

• Hands-on Linux administration with at least 2+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of OS installation and configuration.
• Familiarity with user/group management, permissions, sudo, and SSH basics.

Job Description

6. Desktop/laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, USB devices, and basic hardware issues.
7. User/group creation, permissions, sudo access, password reset, and SSH basics.
8. Installation, driver configuration, network/USB connectivity, printer sharing, scanning setup, and basic troubleshooting.
9. IP configuration, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi/LAN, ping, SSH, and basic network troubleshooting,and escalation to L2
10. Software installation, browser/email/application issues, system logs, ticket handling, documentation, and escalation to L2.

Job Requirements

Should be okay for 24*7 shift; 5days a week

Hands-on experience in Linux with Min 2+years of relevant experience

RHCE/RHCSA certification
