Job summary

Careernet in India seeks an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to manage CentOS, Red Hat and Ubuntu servers in a scalable enterprise environment, ensuring security, availability and performance across production and staging. You will install, configure, and harden Linux systems, handle patching, backups, monitoring, and support of storage and filesystems.

The role requires 5–8 years of hands-on Linux administration, scripting skills, and strong problem-solving in enterprise server

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of Linux systems administration experience.
• Hands-on administration with CentOS Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Ubuntu Linux.
• Strong understanding of server operations, permissions, storage, and filesystems.
• Experience supporting stable and scalable enterprise server environments.
• Ability to diagnose OS and infrastructure issues and support maintenance and recovery activities.

Responsibilities
