The candidate will be responsible for Linux server administration, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating systems.
• Monitor server performance, security, and system health.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
• Perform system troubleshooting, backup, and recovery operations.
• Configure and maintain network services, firewalls, and storage systems.
• Support software installation, updates, and patch management.
• Maintain server documentation and IT records.
• Coordinate with development and technical teams for system support.
• Ensure system security and data protection practices are followed.
• Handle hardware and network-related troubleshooting when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.).
• Understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management.
• Experience with shell scripting and basic automation.
• Knowledge of server monitoring and system security.
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in Linux/System Administration will be an added advantage.
