Job summary

Sketch Lighting seeks a Lighting Technician to join our on-site team in Faridabad. This role supports design and implementation of bespoke lighting projects, including assembling, wiring, configuring control systems, and testing installations for safety and aesthetics.

You will interpret lighting plans, troubleshoot on-site issues, and collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure high‑quality outcomes for live environments and showroom demos.

Qualifications

• Strong practical skills in lighting and lighting design, with ability to interpret technical drawings and design concepts.
• Hands-on experience with lighting control systems and related hardware or software.
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, including safe installation, testing, and troubleshooting of lighting circuits.
• Exposure to stage lighting or similar dynamic environments, including setup, rigging, and cue execution.
• Basic understanding of art, design, or architecture principles and an interest in creative, bespoke projects.
• Ability to work on-site in Faridabad, including occasional extended hours to meet project timelines.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations; formal technical training or certification in electrical or lighting technology is a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Lighting Technician role based in Faridabad. The Lighting Technician will support the design and implementation of bespoke lighting projects, including assembling, installing, and maintaining fixtures and systems. Daily tasks include interpreting lighting plans, wiring and configuring equipment, setting up control systems, and testing installations to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality. The role involves collaborating with designers and project managers, troubleshooting technical issues on-site, and preparing setups for demos, showrooms, and live environments. The Lighting Technician will also document work, maintain tools and inventory, and follow relevant safety and quality standards.
