Job summary

Canvendor in Chennai is seeking an experienced Automotive Lighting Design Engineer to design and develop automotive lighting components, including Head Lamps and Rear Lamps. You will create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 to ensure manufacturability and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with styling, CAE, manufacturing, suppliers, and validation teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Automotive Lighting Design.
• Hands-on CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting, GSD).
• Experience in Head Lamp & Rear Lamp Design and Development.
• Knowledge of Plastic Components, Tooling Feasibility, GD&T, and DFMEA.
• Understanding of the Automotive Product Development Lifecycle.
• Exposure to OEM/Tier-1 projects is preferred.
