Job summary

KEO Group in Bangalore, India, is seeking a Lighting Designer to develop lighting concepts and prepare drawings for electrical plans. You will work with architects and engineers to integrate lighting design into projects and prepare detailed specs for fixtures and controls.

The role requires a minimum of seven years in lighting design with a Bachelor’s in Architecture; a relevant Master’s degree is favored. Hybrid work arrangement and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of lighting design experience with a Bachelor’s in Architecture.
• Master’s level qualification in architecture would be viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present lighting concepts to clients.
• Prepare documentation for analysis and review.
• Provide management with updates and reports.
• Generate lighting drawings using AutoCAD or other software for incorporation in electrical drawings.
• Prepare technical specifications for light fixtures and lighting controls.
• Develop and prepare lighting details.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers regarding lighting design.
• Assist in proposal preparation for lighting design scope and fee.
