Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a Legal Manager/AVP to lead complex BFSI‑related legal work and ensure compliant documentation for lending transactions.

You will review facility and co‑lending agreements, hypothecation deeds, guarantees, and NDAs, coordinate with external counsel, monitor regulatory changes, and maintain records. A law degree and strong knowledge of Indian corporate and banking laws are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting or reviewing loan documentation across lending products.
• Working knowledge of Supply Chain Finance products and loan documentation.
• Knowledge of RBI Master Directions and co-lending guidelines is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Experience with documentation systems and technology platforms.

Responsabilités

• Review and vet facility agreements (secured/unsecured) and co-lending agreements.
• Review hypothecation deeds, guarantees, DPNs, and NDAs.
• Review corporate authorizations, board resolutions, and ancillary documents.
• Review constitutional documents and authorizations for lending transactions.
• Conduct legal research and track regulatory developments for NBFC/financial services.
• Liaise with external counsel, law firms, and consultants.
• Assist in maintaining legal documentation and records management systems.

Key Role Requirements

Education:
LLB / LLM

Experience:
415 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, or a law firm handling BFSI-related matters.

Mandatory Experience

• Experience in drafting or reviewing loan documentation, whether secured or unsecured, across lending products.
  

Preferred Experience (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to Supply Chain Finance documentation
  
• Exposure to Co-lending structures and agreements
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Working knowledge of:

  • Loan and security documentation
    
• Strong understanding of relevant laws including:

• Conduct legal research and track regulatory developments impacting NBFC and financial services operations.
  
• Liaise with external legal counsel, law firms, and consultants for transaction and legal support.
  
• Assist in maintaining legal documentation and records management systems.
