Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a Legal Manager/AVP with LLB/LLM to review lending documents across secured and unsecured facilities, including co-lending structures. The role involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws and coordinating with external counsel.

You will track regulatory developments, manage documentation, and support transactions with strong communication and analytical skills. Mumbai-based role with BFSI exposure.

Qualifications

• Understanding of RBI Master Directions applicable to NBFCs and outsourcing guidelines will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and vet legal documentation including facility agreements (secured / unsecured).
• Review co-lending agreements and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Review hypothecation deeds, guarantees, DPNs, and NDAs.
• Review corporate authorizations, board resolutions, and ancillary documents.
• Review constitutional documents and authorizations for lending transactions.
• Conduct legal research and track regulatory developments impacting NBFC and financial services operations.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, law firms, and consultants for transaction support.
• Assist in maintaining legal documentation and records management systems.

Key Role Requirements

Education:
LLB / LLM

Experience:
415 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, or a law firm handling BFSI-related matters.

Mandatory Experience

• Experience in drafting or reviewing loan documentation, whether secured or unsecured, across lending products.
  

Preferred Experience (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to Supply Chain Finance documentation
  
• Exposure to Co-lending structures and agreements
