Job summary

Allcargo Global in Mumbai seeks an experienced real estate lawyer to manage litigation and due diligence for real estate assets. You will conduct title searches, draft and review sale and lease deeds, and coordinate with government offices.

• Qualified as a lawyer in India with good academic credentials.
• LLB/LLM from reputed University.
• 5-8 years relevant professional experience, preferably in real estate company.
• Communicate clearly and manage stakeholders.
• Be fluent in English. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in Marathi.

Responsibilities

• Conducting title search and Property Due Diligence.
• Co-ordination with lawyers and government offices, such as sub-registrar, talathi, tehsildar.
• Collection of documents from various government offices.
• Drafting and reviewing construction contracts, sale deeds, lease deed etc.
• Registration of property agreements such as sale deed, lease deed, leave & license etc.
• Attending court matters related to real estate and property as and when necessary.
• To manage relationships with external legal consultants and advisors and maintain a healthy working relationship.
• Maintaining all records related to property and real estate.

• Candidate should have hands on experience in real estate legal department with a proven track record in handling litigations including relating to real estate.
• A candidate having knowledge of real estate laws and regulations, conducting property due diligence, title search and registration of sale deeds/lease deeds, coo-ordination and liaison with sub-registrar office, tehsildar office, talathi, gram panchayat etc. He should have exposure to real estate matters including related litigation.
• As part of TransIndia Legal team, this role will be responsible for;
