Job summary

Cybage Software in Pune District, India seeks an experienced Compliance professional to lead regulatory programs in IT. You will implement strategies, monitor adherence, and coordinate audits across offices, ensuring all filings meet legal standards.

The role requires 4–8 years in regulatory/compliance, strong labor law knowledge, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law from a recognized university.
• 4-8 years of experience in regulatory/compliance roles, preferably in the IT industry.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge about labor laws and employment relations.
• Proficient in legal research and interpretation.
• Strong understanding of IT services industry, type of contracts and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting the IT industry.
• Develop and implement compliance strategies to mitigate risks.
• Conduct periodic internal audits to assess adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Filing of Shops and establishment, CLRA, annual POSH reports, Maternity benefit, ER 1 and all other Labor law related compliance filings.
• Renewals of Shops and establishment and other company related licenses.
• Statewide compliances wherein company offices are located.
• Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Provide guidance on contract interpretation and negotiation.
• Review and prepare internal employment agreements for overseas branches and subsidiaries of the parent company.
• Plan and execute internal audits to assess operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation.
• Produce comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Liaising with external compliance consultants.
• Contribute to development and enhancement of company policies.
• Educate employees on compliance policies and procedures.
• Work closely with legal, finance, and other departments to address compliance issues.
• Provide guidance to project teams on compliance matters as and when required.
• Represent the Company in external client audits.
