Job summary

Raise Financial Services seeks a detail-oriented Legal professional to support the Legal and Compliance function in Mumbai. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal documents, maintaining trackers and MIS, and coordinating regulatory submissions and audits.

You will work with internal stakeholders to implement policies, stay updated on regulatory changes, and ensure timely closure of compliance requirements. Law graduates with internship in legal/compliance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Law graduate with LL.B. or equivalent preferred.
• Basic understanding of SEBI, NSE, BSE, CDSL circulars and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of stock broking, capital markets and securities laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal agreements, NDAs, MOUs and other documents.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal professional to support the Legal and Compliance function. The role will involve assisting with legal documentation, contract review, regulatory compliance, audits, and maintaining legal and compliance records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal agreements, NDAs, MOUs, and other legal documents.
• Maintain trackers, MIS, and records related to agreements, compliance requirements, and action items.
• Support routine regulatory compliance activities, including regulatory submissions and documentation.
• Assist in preparing documents and information required for internal audits.
• Support the review and updation of internal policies, procedures, and compliance-related documents.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely closure and implementation of legal and compliance requirements.
• Conduct basic legal and regulatory research and assist in tracking applicable regulatory updates.
• Support the Legal team in day-to-day legal and compliance activities as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic understanding of legal drafting, contract review, and documentation.
• Familiarity with SEBI, NSE, BSE, CDSL circulars, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Basic understanding of stock broking, capital markets, and securities laws.
• Good legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain MIS, trackers, and compliance records with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within defined timelines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Law Graduate (LL.B. or equivalent) preferred.
• Prior internship or work exposure in Legal, Compliance, Stock Broking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with a strong interest in legal drafting, regulatory compliance, and financial markets are encouraged to apply.
