Raise Financial Services in Goregaon West, Mumbai is seeking an experienced KYC Manager to lead institutional account onboarding, ensuring SEBI and stock exchange compliance across corporates, FPIs, AIFs and PMS clients. The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on KYC experience and strong regulatory knowledge.

You will coordinate with Technology and Product teams to automate processes and ensure timely regulatory filings, audits, and resolutions.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of hands-on KYC/documentation experience for Corporates, FPIs, AIFs, PMS, and other institutional clients.
  • Strong understanding of SEBI guidelines governing entity onboarding and account lifecycles.
  • Experience with KYC/CKYC, KRA, FATCA/CRS and depository/stock exchange processes.

Responsibilities

  • Experience handling Institutional accounts including MF, AIFs, PMS, and FPI.
  • Oversee onboarding, modifications, closures and related operational processes.
  • Regulatory compliance: oversee KYC/CKYC, KRA, FATCA/CRS per SEBI and exchange guidelines.
  • DP & Broking operations: ensure accurate depository operations and regulatory adherence.
  • Regulatory reporting: prepare and submit reports to CDSL and stock exchanges on time.
  • Audit & inspection management: lead audits and resolve queries with zero non‑compliance.
  • Client grievance resolution and SLAs adherence; drive root-cause analysis.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented KYC Manager to lead and oversee our Institutional Account opening. The ideal candidate brings 2 to 3 years of hands‑on experience managing end‑to‑end KYC documentation and the complete account lifecycle for Corporates, FPIs, AIFs, PMS, and other Institutional Clients. Candidates should possess an in‑depth understanding of SEBI and stock exchange guidelines governing entity onboarding, regulatory compliance, and account lifecycle management.

Expected Responsibilities
  • Experience handling Institutional accounts Mutual Funds (MF) ,Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) , PMS , FPI. Strong understanding of client onboarding, account modifications, closures and related operational processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Due Diligence: Oversee and automate KYC, CKYC, KRA, and FATCA/CRS processes in strict alignment with SEBI, CDSL, and Stock Exchange guidelines, with a specific focus on complex Non‑Individual accounts.
  • DP & Broking Operations: Ensure flawless day‑to‑day execution of depository operations, maintaining exceptional operational accuracy, strict regulatory adherence, and optimal Turnaround Times (TAT).
  • Regulatory Reporting & Filings: Prepare, validate, and submit all mandatory periodic regulatory reports and submissions to CDSL and Stock Exchanges accurately within statutory timelines.
  • Audit & Inspection Management: Lead and manage internal, external, concurrent, and regulatory audits (SEBI/Exchanges/Depositories), ensuring zero non‑compliance and the swift resolution of audit queries.
  • Client Grievance Resolution: Monitor, track, and resolve client grievances and escalations within defined SLAs, driving root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Internal Controls & SOP Implementation: Formulate, update, and enforce strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal operational risk control mechanisms.
  • Tech & Product Collaboration: Partner closely with internal Technology and Product teams to spearhead end‑to‑end operational automation, system enhancements, new project rollouts, and continuous process optimization.
Expected Skills
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in Broking and Depository Operations, preferably with a SEBIregistered entity.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a team lead or managerial role.
  • Strong hands‑on experience in CDSL and Stock Exchange operations.
  • Good understanding of SEBI regulations, CDSL rules, Stock Exchange circulars, KRA, CKYC, FATCA and CRS requirements.
  • Experience handling Institutional KYC Onboarding, including Corporates, LLPs, Partnerships, NRIs, MF, FPI and PMS clients.
  • Strong understanding of client onboarding, account modifications, closures and related operational processes.
  • Experience in managing audits, inspections, regulatory queries and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle complex operational issues and client escalations within defined SLAs.
  • Ability to work closely with Technology and Product teams and translate business and regulatory requirements into system workflows and automation.
  • Proactive approach to identifying operational gaps, system issues and process bottlenecks.
  • Good analytical skills with proficiency in Advanced Excel, MIS and data analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain regulatory and operational requirements clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • NISM Series VI – Depository Operations or NISM Series VII – Securities Operations and Risk Management certification will be an added advantage.

Location: Goregaon West, Mumbai (Preference will be given to candidates residing in Mumbai’s Western suburbs).
