Job summary

CryptoMize in Delhi is seeking an experienced legal professional to own the live engagements’ legal workstream, review and draft contracts, and provide negotiation support from assignment through senior sign-off.

You will research client legal challenges and translate findings into actionable guidance for the engagement team while ensuring actions comply with applicable law across data protection, electoral, media, and privacy regimes.

Qualifications

• Professional legal research — authority-finding at practitioner speed.
• Contract review and drafting across engagement agreements and NDAs.
• Regulatory command: data protection, electoral, media, privacy frameworks.
• Risk-calibrated judgment — knowing when to elevate and when to resolve.
• Precise drafting under deadline.

Responsibilities

• Own the legal workstream of live engagements — contract review, drafting, and negotiation support — from assignment through senior sign-off
• Conduct research on the legal challenges clients confront and convert it into advice the engagement team can act on
• Guarantee engagement actions proceed in accordance with the law — flagging boundary questions before they become incidents
• Work closely with paralegal support and senior counsel to give engagements full legal depth
• Track the regulatory landscape across our five domains — data protection, electoral, media, and privacy regulation — and brief teams on material changes
• Maintain the documentation architecture: agreements, NDAs, and the records trail that keeps a confidentiality-first organization defensible
• Mentor the legal interns attached to your engagements and feed their conversion decisions, filings calendared so nothing expires unnoticed
