Leading Banking & Financial Services Organization is seeking an experienced Legal & Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance, AML/CFT requirements and legal agreements for an international investment and trading platform.

The role involves managing KYC processes, client onboarding, risk assessment and sanctions screening, while coordinating with multiple teams and external counsel to ensure ongoing compliance and regulatory readiness.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Legal & Compliance professional to manage legal agreements, regulatory compliance, and AML/CFT requirements for an international investment and trading platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate client, vendor and business partner agreements.
• Manage regulatory compliance and AML/CFT requirements.
• Oversee KYC, client onboarding, risk assessment and sanctions screening.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Coordinate with business, operations, technology teams and external legal counsel.
• Support regulatory audits, inspections, reporting and compliance training.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Law (LLB/LLM) or relevant CA qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience in Legal, Compliance or AML/CFT within BFSI, stockbroking, mutual funds, banking or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of legal agreements, regulatory requirements and client onboarding controls.
• Knowledge of Mauritius FSC regulations will be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills.
