Job summary

Phillipcapital in Mumbai seeks a legal professional to support stock broking and SEBI-regulated businesses. The role covers handling disputes, drafting filings, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to safeguard company interests.

Candidate should have LLB/LLM with experience in legal, financial services, and be adept at drafting, negotiation and analysis to manage diverse legal matters.

Qualifications

• LLB or LLM with relevant experience in legal and financial services.
• Experience in stock broking, capital market, NBFC or SEBI-regulated entities preferred.
• Strong drafting, communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently handle legal matters and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handle client complaints, litigations, arbitration and court cases for the company.
• Draft and file submissions, replies, affidavits on behalf of the company.
• Review agreements, contracts and NDAs.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI-regulated business rules and policies.

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary: We are looking for a legal professional to join our legal team and provide legal support across our stock broking and other SEBI-regulated business.

Job Description:

1. Handling Client Complaints, Litigations, Arbitration and Court cases on behalf of the company,
2. Drafting and filing of submissions, replies, affidavits on behalf of the company,
3. Review of all types of agreements and contracts, NDAs etc.
4. To ensure compliance with various external and internal Rules, Regulations, Policies and Procedures related to Stock Broking, DP, NBFC and other SEBI-regulated business.
5. Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and advise internal team
6. Maintain proper records of legal matter, agreements and documentations.

Qualification required:

1. Law Degree (LLB)/LLM with relevant experience in legal, financial services.
2. Experience in stock broking, capital market, NBFC or other SEBI-regulated entities will be preferred
3. Good drafting, communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to independently handle legal matter and coordinate with internal and external stake holding
