Job summary

Sid’s Farm is hiring a Lead – Warehousing to oversee the daily operations of the Distribution Center and coordinate dispatch activities at the Manchar Plant. The role focuses on ensuring efficient material movement from Plant to DC and onward to Dark Stores and B2B customers while maintaining inventory accuracy and dispatch timelines.

The position requires collaboration with Plant Operations, Transport, and Last Mile teams across multiple shifts to lead warehouse operations and maintain safety

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in warehouse, dispatch, distribution, or logistics operations.
• Experience in FMCG, Dairy, Food Processing, or Cold Chain is a plus.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center across all shifts.
• Supervise Warehouse Executives and Dispatch Executive for daily execution.
• Coordinate dispatch planning between Manchar Plant, DC, and Dark Stores.
• Monitor stock receiving, storage, and FIFO inventory.
• Ensure timely Dark Store replenishments and B2B dispatches.
• Ensure safety, SOP compliance, and audit of warehouse activities.
• Track performance and report dispatch, inventory, shortages, and movements.

About the Role:

Sid's Farm is looking for a Lead - Warehousing to oversee the daily operations of the Distribution Center and coordinate dispatch activities at the Manchar Plant. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient material movement from the Plant to the Distribution Center and onward to Dark Stores and B2B customers while maintaining inventory accuracy, dispatch timelines, and operational compliance.

The position requires close coordination with Plant Operations, Transport, and Last Mile teams to ensure smooth first-mile and mid-mile logistics while leading warehouse operations across multiple shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center across all operational shifts.
• Supervise and guide Warehouse Executives and Plant Dispatch Executive to ensure smooth daily execution.
• Coordinate dispatch planning and material movement between the Manchar Plant, Distribution Center, and Dark Stores.
• Monitor stock receiving, storage, sorting, staging, loading, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of Dark Store replenishments and B2B dispatch requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper stock handling, FIFO implementation, and timely reconciliation of shortages and returns.
• Monitor dispatch documentation, stock transfers, vehicle loading, and compliance with operational SOPs.
• Coordinate with Plant, Transport, and Last Mile Operations to ensure uninterrupted product flow.
• Conduct regular warehouse and dispatch audits to maintain operational discipline, housekeeping, and cold chain standards.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and service levels.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, warehouse compliance, and documentation processes.
• Track daily operational performance and provide regular updates on dispatch, inventory, shortages, and material movement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in any discipline; qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred.
• 3-7 years of experience in warehouse, dispatch, distribution, or logistics operations.
• Experience in FMCG, Dairy, Food Processing, or Cold Chain operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, dispatch planning, and material movement.
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly between the Distribution Center and Manchar Plant.
