JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Lead Vehicle Integration Engineer to lead complete vehicle integration activities for tractor and agricultural machinery programs. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle concept layout, vehicle architecture, packaging, Digital Mock-Up (DMU), component integration and cross-functional coordination to ensure manufacturability, performance, quality and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead complete vehicle integration activities for tractor programs.
- Develop concept layouts for complete tractor vehicles and major vehicle systems.
- Define vehicle architecture and packaging for assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Conduct packaging studies and Digital Mock-Up (DMU) reviews.
- Perform interference, clearance and integration analysis.
- Prepare and maintain vehicle integration layouts and engineering documentation.
- Lead DFMEA activities to identify and mitigate design risks.
- Review component interfaces and ensure proper vehicle-level integration.
- Coordinate with Design, CAE, Testing, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
- Support prototype build, vehicle fitment validation and issue resolution.
- Identify and resolve packaging, integration and interface-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, cost, quality and program timelines.
- Provide technical guidance to the vehicle integration team.
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related discipline.
- 67 years of relevant experience in Vehicle Integration, Tractor Design, Agricultural Machinery or Automotive Engineering.
- Strong experience in complete vehicle integration, concept layout, architecture and packaging.
- Hands‑on experience in DMU, interference and clearance analysis.
- Good knowledge of DFMEA and vehicle‑level design validation.
- Experience with Siemens NX / UG NX, CATIA V5 and/or Teamcenter.
- Experience in Tractor / Agricultural Machinery / Off‑Highway Vehicle OEMs will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, component interfaces and packaging requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to lead a small engineering team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
