Job summary

Mployee.me is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer Vehicle Integration Design to lead packaging and integration across vehicle systems in Pune. You will own packaging at engine bay, underbody, cabin, and luggage zones, and drive DMU-based validation across KO to SOP.

You will collaborate with BIW, Powertrain, Chassis, Interior, Electrical, and Thermal teams to achieve clash-free layouts, regulatory compliance, and cost targets while delivering multiple programs in the NPI lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5/V6, NX, Creo) and DMU workflows.
• Experience with DMU reviews, 3D packaging studies, and interface management.
• Knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, DFMEA, DFMA, and vehicle regs/standards.
• Familiar with PLM workflows (Teamcenter/Windchill/ENOVIA) and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle-level packaging and integration for engine bay, underbody, cabin, and luggage areas.
• Develop and maintain vehicle layouts, master sections, and architecture studies.
• Perform 2D packaging studies and 3D CAD integration using DMU tools.
• Define and manage interfaces between BIW, PTI, chassis, interior, electrical, and thermal systems.
• Conduct packaging feasibility studies, tolerance analysis, clearance checks, and ergonomic evaluations.
• Identify and resolve packaging clashes using digital mock-up methods.
• Ensure packaging targets for weight, cost, performance, manufacturability, serviceability, and safety.
• Support prototype builds, PV, PP, and SOP readiness activities.
• Drive engineering deliverables through all NPI milestones KO to SOP.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Vehicle Integration Design to lead vehicle-level packaging and integration activities across multiple vehicle systems. The role involves ownership of vehicle packaging, interface management, CAD integration, packaging feasibility studies, and ensuring successful delivery of vehicle programs throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle from Kick-Off (KO) to Start of Production (SOP).

The ideal candidate will work closely with BIW, Powertrain, Chassis, Interior, Electrical, Thermal, and Manufacturing teams to achieve optimized vehicle layouts, clash-free integration, regulatory compliance, serviceability, manufacturability, and cost targets.
