Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Limited is seeking a Lead Engineer - AVA with 12+ years of automotive experience to drive vehicle architecture targets and ergonomic improvements. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to converge hardpoints, oversee image targets for visibility and usability, and develop platform concepts including VR data management.

The role requires a strong mechanical engineering background and leadership skills to deliver customer-centric solutions across programs.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in the automobile industry.
• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Mechanical engineering.
• Senior-level professional with leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set, align, converge & manage vehicle architecture hardpoints targets across the program.
• Manage functional image target setting for Visibility, Package and Usability FI requirements.
• Develop platform concepts and VR data management; perform ergonomic assessments and customer-centric analysis.
• Liaise with CFT on critical LOPs of hardpoints, ergo DVPs and derive logical conclusions.
• Develop Bucks, mockups, and VR based data management; conduct physical vehicle assessments.

Set, align, converge & manage vehicle architecture hardpoints targets across the programManaging functional image target setting for Visibility, Package and Usability FI requirementsCapability of developing platform convepts (generation, bandwidth definition etc)Able to perform critical ergonomic assesments and clearly bring out customer challengesLiason with CFT on the critical LOP's of hardpoints and ergo DVP's and bring logical conclusionsCapability to develop Bucks, mockups, and VR based data management.Do physical vehicle assesments and bring out the inferences in terms of better customer centric executionsCOBS - Customer obsession - Idea generation of doing critical improvements in customer usabilityHuman Machine Interface based customer targets generation and managementOverall vehicle layout review and managementWork with CFT on target convergence
