Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. in India seeks a DGM, Integrated Planning, US Gx to lead end‑to‑end supply planning for US Generics, drive demand forecasting, DRP output, and performance improvement across the GSCM unit.

You will manage the US Gx planning team, coordinate with CMOs and site functions, reduce backorder and write‑offs, improve air‑v.s. sea logistics, and run S&OP while escalating critical issues to minimize business risk.

Qualifications

• Graduate (Pharmacy or Engg) with Post grad in SCM / Operations management.
• Experience: 15-18 years in planning and supply chain leadership.
• Exposure to US/Gx planning and private label management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track, monitor and improve sufficiency loss for US Generics business.
• Reduce backorder and Failure-To-Supply.
• Monitor FG inventory health and reduce short-dating and write-off.
• Use APO and Kinaxis for consensus forecasting and DRP output.
• Lead bid management with business and operations teams.
• Improve air-vs-sea ratio for US shipments.
• Coordinate with CMOs supplying to US business.
• Lead S&OP processes and escalate critical concerns.
• Manage US Gx planning team and deliverables (KPIs).
• Admin manager for NAM SCM GCC team in India.
• Collaborate with site functions and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Track, monitor and improve Sufficiency loss for US Generics business
• Reduce Backorder and Failure-To-Supply
• Monitor FG inventory health and reduce short-dating and write-off
• Use advance planning tools like APO and Kinaxis for consensus forecasting and DRP output
• Actively work on bid management with business and operations team
• Work on improving Air-vs-Sea ratio for US
• Responsible for private label supplies and demand management as an alliance manager
• Responsible to coordinate with CMO supplying to US business
• Participate and run S&OP and ensure critical concerns are timely escalated and resolved to minimize business loss and supply disruption
• Manage US Gx planning team and their deliverables (KPIs)
• Incumbent will also be Admin manager for NAM SCM GCC team based in India
• Work closely with supply sites and other CFT’s supporting US business (RA, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Planners)
• Work on both site and sales queries with respect to demand and supply visibility both up and down stream of the value chain
