Job summary

OrangeTech Innovations Private Limited in Gurgaon is seeking a Lead Tester with a strong background in performance testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and analyze performance tests to ensure scalable, reliable, and responsive applications.

Collaborating with developers, DevOps, and product owners, you will define benchmarks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and help optimize systems across web, mobile and API services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong experience with one or more performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.).
• Solid understanding of software architecture (web, mobile, APIs, microservices, cloud-based applications).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, Groovy, or similar) for custom test scenarios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics.
• Familiarity with monitoring and APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of SQL and database performance optimization.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with expertise in Performance Testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our applications by designing, executing, and analyzing performance and load tests. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance across a variety of environments.
