Job summary

Mangalam Cement in Kota, Rajasthan is seeking a seasoned mechanical maintenance leader to plan, execute, and supervise comprehensive maintenance across a large cement plant. You will drive preventive and breakdown maintenance for kilns, VRMs, mills, and conveyors, aiming to maximize reliability and uptime.

We seek a proven leader with strong troubleshooting, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination skills who can mentor teams, manage shutdowns, and enforce safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of mechanical maintenance experience in large cement plants.
• Proven experience in leading maintenance teams and handling plant shutdowns.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of maintenance planning, budgeting, and inventory management.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Lead overhaul and maintenance of equipment including Rotary Kiln, VRM, Ball Mills, crushers, and conveyors.
• Ensure optimum equipment availability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor costs and optimize manpower, spares, and resources.
• Coordinate with production, electrical, and process teams during shutdowns.
• Ensure safety standards, statutory compliance, and housekeeping.

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Lead overhaul, repair, and maintenance of - Rotary Kiln, Cross Bar Cooler, IKN Cooler, Ball Mills, Vertical Roller Mills (VRM), Roller Press, Crushers, Pollution Control Equipment (ESP, Bag Filters, etc.), Material Handling Equipment (Belt Conveyors, Bucket Elevators, Chain Conveyors, etc.),
• Ensure optimum equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor maintenance costs and optimize utilization of manpower, spares, and resources
• Coordinate with production, electrical, and process teams during shutdowns and major maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and housekeeping practices.
