Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognised institution.
• Registered/licensed as applicable.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with children.
• Experience with early intervention and developmental needs preferred.
• Experience with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays or language disorders.
• Strong assessment, intervention and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and parent-counselling abilities.
• Ability to lead in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Interest in building systems and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct assessments of speech and language.

Role Overview

FoxClub is looking for an experienced Lead Speech & Language Therapist to build and lead our Speech & Language Therapy function under FoxClub THRIVE – Inclusive Learning & Development. This is an opportunity for a passionate speech-language professional who wants to go beyond individual therapy sessions and play a key role in building a high-quality, child-centred therapy team and service. The Lead Therapist will work closely with children, parents, educators and other therapists while also establishing clinical processes, mentoring team members and helping shape the overall speech and language intervention framework at FoxClub.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language and communication assessments.
• Develop individualised speech and language intervention plans.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group therapy based on individual needs.
• Support children with speech sound disorders, language delays, communication difficulties, social communication needs and other developmental challenges.
• Track progress and maintain appropriate clinical documentation.
• Conduct regular reviews and modify intervention plans based on the child's progress.
• Work closely with parents and provide practical strategies for communication carry-over at home.
• Collaborate with Special Educators, ABA professionals, Occupational Therapists, educators and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in case discussions and Individualised Intervention Planning.
• Establish standardised processes, documentation and therapy protocols for the Speech & Language function.
• Build, mentor and lead a team of Speech & Language Therapists as the function grows.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and supervision of future team members.
• Maintain quality and consistency of clinical practice across the team.
• Contribute to parent education, workshops and awareness initiatives.
• Help develop and expand FoxClub's Speech & Language Therapy offerings.

Skills Required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech & Hearing from a recognised institution.
• Relevant professional registration/licensing as applicable.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with children.
• Experience with early intervention and developmental needs is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, speech and language delays or communication difficulties.
• Strong assessment, intervention and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and parent-counselling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
• A genuine interest in building systems, teams and high-quality clinical practices.
