Job summary

Gallagher in India is seeking a Research Program Manager to lead employer surveys and benchmarking research initiatives, coordinating strategy, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence.

You will serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the research team, ensuring the successful delivery of programs that drive client outcomes and business impact. Strong leadership and consulting support are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• MBA or Master’s in Analytics, Statistics, or Market Research preferred.
• 7–12 years of experience in market research, employee research, benefits consulting, research operations, survey program management, and consulting delivery.
• Experience in healthcare benefits, insurance, human capital consulting, or benchmarking is preferred.

Overview

The Research Program Manager will lead Gallagher's Employer Surveys & Benchmarking research initiatives, overseeing program strategy, stakeholder engagement, consulting support, project governance, and delivery excellence.

The role will serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the research team while ensuring the successful delivery of survey and benchmarking programs that drive client and business outcomes. This role aligns closely with the stakeholder engagement, consulting support, SOW development, survey development, and project leadership responsibilities.

Stakeholder Management

Consulting Support

• Develop Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Support proposals and business development
• Translate business requirements into research objectives

Research Oversight

• Review research methodologies
• Ensure alignment with business goals
• Validate insights, analyses, and recommendations

Delivery Management

• Manage budgets, resources, and project risks
• Ensure quality standards and process improvements
• Drive timely and successful project delivery

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and coach research professionals
• Build team capabilities and performance frameworks
• Support talent development and growth initiatives

About you

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Preferred: MBA, Master's in Analytics, Statistics, or Market Research

Experience

Seeking professionals with 7–12 years of experience in market research, employee research, benefits consulting, research operations, survey program management, and consulting delivery. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in managing research initiatives, driving stakeholder engagement, and delivering actionable business insights.

Preferred Industry Experience

• Experience in healthcare benefits, insurance, human capital consulting, employee experience research, or benchmarking services is preferred. Exposure to data-driven consulting environments and large-scale research programs will be an added advantage.
