Job summary

OpenText, The Information Company, is hiring for an experienced IAM consultant/architect in Mumbai. You will lead engagements from discovery to strategy, design hybrid identity solutions, and deliver architecture documents and proposals to enterprise clients.

Ideal candidates have 8–12+ years in IAM, strong executive communication, and prefer OpenText/NetIQ certifications. This role focuses on Zero Trust, IAM governance, and integration with major enterprise systems.

Your ImpactProvide technology consulting and trusted advisory to enterprise Clients, helping them design modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using OpenText NetIQ and complementary technologies. Lead client engagements from discovery through solution architecture, demonstrations, proposals, and technical strategy while aligning IAM initiatives with Zero Trust and digital transformation objectives.

What The Role Offers

• Act as a trusted advisor for IAM, Identity Governance (IGA), Access Management (AM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Lead discovery workshops and define business-driven IAM architectures.
• Design hybrid identity solutions spanning on-premises and cloud.
• Deliver executive presentations, demos, workshops, and Proof of Concepts.
• Prepare RFP responses, solution proposals, architecture documents, and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, and Partners.
• Mentor other consultants and contribute reusable assets and best practices.

What You Need To Succeed

• Strong technical knowledge for broader Cyber Security solutions.
• Strong expertise in Identity and Access management, Identity Governance, Access Manager, Advanced Authentication, Privileged Account Manager, eDirectory, Identity Applications, SSPR, and Reporting.
• Identity Lifecycle Management (Joiner-Mover-Leaver), RBAC, ABAC, Segregation of Duties, Access Certification and Role Mining.
• Authentication and federation standards: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM, LDAP, FIDO2/WebAuthn and MFA.
• Integration with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow and custom applications.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, JDBC, PowerShell, Shell scripting and Linux/Windows environments.
• Working knowledge of containers, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Strong troubleshooting across TLS/HTTPS, certificates, federation and identity protocols.
• 8–12+ years in enterprise IAM with at least 5 years in solution architecture or presales.
• Experience leading medium to large enterprise opportunities.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation and consultative selling skills.
• Preferred certifications: OpenText/NetIQ, CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Identity.
• Ability to engage CIOs, CISOs, Enterprise Architects and Security Architects.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to map technology to business outcomes.
• Self-driven, collaborative and capable of leading complex strategic engagements.
