Qualifications

• 7+ years of Workday experience with techno-functional focus.
• Hands-on Workday HCM and Financial Management.
• Expertise in Workday integrations: EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, OT.
• Strong BP Framework, security configuration, reporting.
• Experience in requirements analysis, architecture, and delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Ability to manage backlogs, troubleshoot, and support production.
• Strong HR and Finance process knowledge and data governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical leadership.

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer – Workday with strong techno-functional expertise across Workday HCM and Financial Management. The candidate will lead solution design, integrations, reporting, security, testing, and end-to-end delivery while collaborating with business stakeholders and mentoring junior team members.

Must-Have Skills

• 7+ years of Workday experience, with strong techno-functional and solution design expertise.
• Hands-on experience in both Workday HCM and Financial Management modules.
• Expertise in Workday integrations: EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and/or Object Transporter.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Business Process Framework, security configuration, calculated fields, and reporting.
• Experience in requirements analysis, solution architecture, configuration, enhancements, and full project lifecycle delivery.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Experience managing technical backlogs, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting production environments.
• Strong understanding of HR and Finance business processes and master data governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Workday biannual feature releases and impact assessments.
• Expertise in advanced, matrix, and composite reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Experience with Agile or product-based delivery methodologies.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and analysts.
• Experience with end-to-end Workday implementations, module rollouts, and cross-functional integrations.
