Position Overview

Boeing Talent Acquisition seeks a Lead Software Engineer - Flight Management System for Boeing India Software Engineering (BISE) in Bengaluru, India. The role involves leading activities to develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems, and leading development, integration, and testing efforts. The candidate will provide technical leadership, manage software suppliers, and oversee process deployment, research, and development projects, working under minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
• Possess strong experience in Flight Management Systems, capable of simulating scenarios and guiding the team.
• Develop and integrate software components into a functional system.
• Create verification plans, test procedures, and environments; execute tests and document results.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, track performance, and ensure conformance to standards.
• Develop engineering solutions for avionics software, including development, integration, testing, and documentation.

Additional Details

Employer will not sponsor visas. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or higher, experience in C/C++ and Python, RTOS experience, and strong Flight Management System knowledge. Preferred skills include relationship building, communication, and proficiency in English and MS Office. The typical education and experience combine a Bachelor's degree with approximately 12 years of related work experience. The position offers relocation within India.
