Position Overview

Experienced Software Engineer – Full Stack at Boeing India Private Limited. Working in Bengaluru, India as part of Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team. Develop modern web applications using NodeJS, NestJS, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Estimate user stories/features and tasks in sprint planning.
• Participate in backlog refinement and ask relevant questions.
• Confirm code and acceptance tests meet desired functionality.
• Raise impediments/risks and work with Scrum Master, Architect or PO to resolve.
• Ensure change requests are tracked, impact analyzed, and risks communicated.
• Develop working software toward committed PI objectives and iteration plans.
• Deliver software meeting quality standards.
• Prototype and evaluate technical feasibility; own software design and architectural decisions.
• Fix basic software or DevOps stack issues.
• Document and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve complex issues related to processes, methods, tools, and standards.
• Maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, and partners.
• Mentor junior team members on technical aspects.
• Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
• Be prepared to travel within India and internationally.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with NodeJS, NestJS, and ReactJS.
• Skilled in integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Experience with web security best practices (input validation, authentication, authorization).
• Experience in database modelling with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Good knowledge of database concepts, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Cloud Full Stack Developer certification.
• Proficiency with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Unit and integration testing experience.
• UI/UX best practices and platform‑specific design guidelines.
• Experience with web APIs, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous programming.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in global cross‑cultural teams across time zones.
• Hands‑on experience in architecting, designing, and developing full‑stack modules.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
