Job summary

First Advantage is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with a hands-on engineering background and a track record leading development teams. You will design, build, and scale web-based applications while mentoring engineers and promoting a servant-leader culture.

You will drive architecture, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices across the team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality enterprise services.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/BS or masters in computer science or related discipline.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years in a technical leadership role with hands-on software development.
• Experience driving development in Agile/Scrum or Kanban with DevOps.
• Strong architecture, design, and implementation skills with a strong coding background in C#.
• Experience with Git-based source control.
• Experience with .Net, .NET Core, MVC, ASP.Net, Windows Services, Windows Apps, MS SQL Server.
• RESTful API, JSON, and XML experience.
• Familiarity with logging frameworks like NLog or log4net.
• Cloud technologies, especially AWS; microservice architecture is preferred.

• Champion Agile Scrum and DevOps within the team and across groups.
• Manage team of developers, design and implement new functionality and improve existing products.

You must have a proven track record of designing and building powerful, fast, massively scalable, and secure web-based applications.
