Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for the utilisation of a quality-first mindset throughout the development process.
• Embed quality into our processes, utilising relevant techniques and heuristics where required to ensure effective testing and feedback loops.
• Work hands-on with engineers to test and measure quality as products are being built.
• For lead roles: demonstrate proven experience in leading and coaching junior engineers on quality and embedding it into teams (ideally 1+ year of experience).
• Continuously improve with an innate curiosity and an eye for detail.
• Communicate effectively, proactively seeking out and raising risks with relevant team members and leadership, and work with them to resolve issues.
• Understand testing techniques, heuristics, and processes, and how/when they are implemented during the development process.
• Have a working understanding of test automation, its benefits, implementation, and pitfalls; bonus for experience building automated test frameworks.
• Have exposure to applications built with:
  • Testing frameworks such as Playwright, Storybook.
  • C# .NET.
  • Observability frameworks such as Grafana/Datadog.
