Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Work as part of a cross‑functional, global team.
• Design and implement technical solutions with a clear focus on quality, performance, and reliability.
• Partner with Project Management, technical stakeholders, and business teams.
• Advocate for engineering best practices including design reviews, test‑driven development, CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to define team priorities, manage workload, and drive career development initiatives.
• Contribute to our DevOps culture and take ownership of our designs through production operations.
• Participate in the hiring process, from technical interviewing to onboarding and developing new team members.

Requirements

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, working in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership, mentorship, or team lead capacity.
• 5+ years of experience writing, debugging, and refining database queries.
• 5+ years of experience with object‑oriented programming (preferably C# .NET or NodeJs).
• 5+ years of experience building or maintaining cloud infrastructure and services (preferably AWS).
• 3+ years of experience automating repetitive tasks (e.g., setups, developer onboarding, data movement).

Technical Skills

• Understanding of software architectural patterns with a focus on serverless services and microservices.
• Proficiency in database technologies and scripting like MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL.
• Proficiency in object oriented programming using languages like C#, NodeJS, Python.
• Proficiency building web applications using frameworks like Angular and React.
• Strong experience with containerization such as Docker.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools for application pipeline performance such as New Relic.
• Experience developing against APIs and building scalable systems.
• Experience with writing unit tests and test driven development.
• Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development experience.
• Solid analytical, problem solving and decision‑making skills.

• Proven experience leading teams, conducting code reviews, and providing technical mentorship.
