Job summary

Luxoft in Bengaluru is seeking a senior networking test engineer to design and implement data center network features, security and routing capabilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability, performance and scalability while developing robust test plans and automation scripts.

You will leverage Spirent, IXIA and virtualization platforms to validate topologies, optimize convergence, and deliver repeatable results.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Networking/Telecom- Embedded/Network Management with hands-on testing.
• Experience in data center topologies testing and test plan development.
• Hands-on with Spirent/IXIA and virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack).
• Python or similar scripting for test automation.
• Strong communication across Product Management and Development.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with functional engineering teams, test teams and customer solution engineering teams to design and develop feature functionality for data center networks, network security and routing technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and test teams to ensure the implementation meets end customer requirements for interoperability, performance, scalability, and security
• Develop detailed system test plans
