Job summary

The NineHertz is seeking a QA Automation lead to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API, UI, and integration testing. You will align automation strategy with Agile delivery and champion best practices across global projects.

You will integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI), mentor QA engineers, and track KPIs to improve quality and ROI while driving shift-left initiatives and test data management.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong exposure to API, UI, and integration testing within Agile environments.
• Proficient in Java ecosystem and test automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks.
• Architect end-to-end test strategies for API, UI, and integration layers.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Mentor QA engineers on automation tools, scripting, and test data mgmt.
• Collaborate with Dev/Product/Ops to embed quality gates and TD D practices.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements to reduce defects and ROI.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks using industry best practices.
• Architect end-to-end test strategies aligned with Agile/Scrum delivery cycles, ensuring test coverage for API, UI, and integration layers.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) to enable continuous feedback and rapid regression cycles.
• Mentor and upskill QA engineers on advanced automation tools, scripting, and test data management techniques.
• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and Ops teams to embed quality gates, enforce test-driven development (TDD), and improve defect escape rates.
• Monitor test execution KPIs (pass/fail rate, flakiness, coverage) and implement improvements to reduce technical debt and increase ROI.
