Job summary

The NineHertz is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks across API, UI, and integration layers. You will drive test strategies aligned with Agile/Scrum, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teammates to improve automation maturity.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure zero-defect delivery while embracing shift-left quality and test-driven development practices in a fast-paced, global project environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Selenium WebDriver experience.
• Proficient in TestNG and Java for test scripting.
• Hands-on REST Assured for API testing.
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins).
• Knowledge of BDD/Cucumber framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Architect end-to-end test strategies for API, UI, and integration layers.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback.
• Mentor QA engineers in automation tools, scripting, and data management.
• Collaborate with Dev/Prod/Ops to embed quality gates and reduce defects.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks using industry best practices.


• Architect end-to-end test strategies aligned with Agile/Scrum delivery cycles, ensuring test coverage for API, UI, and integration layers.


• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) to enable continuous feedback and rapid regression cycles.


• Mentor and upskill QA engineers on advanced automation tools, scripting, and test data management techniques.


• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and Ops teams to embed quality gates, enforce test-driven development (TDD), and improve defect escape rates.


• Monitor test execution KPIs (pass/fail rate, flakiness, coverage) and implement improvements to reduce technical debt and increase ROI.
