Job summary

Round glass seeks a Lead, Program Design, Yoga to shape village-level wellbeing initiatives in Punjab. You will build a scalable programme framework, design a culturally sensitive yoga curriculum for rural women, and drive field delivery with local partners and facilitators.

You will lead end-to-end rollout, recruit and train instructors, and establish SOPs for safe, high‑quality sessions, while tracking impact with clear KPIs and documentation.

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of grassroots programme leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field.
  • Yoga certification from a recognised institution; advanced or therapeutic training preferred.
  • Experience with women-focused programmes in Punjab or similar contexts.
  • Fluency in Punjabi; Hindi/English a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the overall programme framework, including objectives, curriculum structure, delivery models, and scale plan for village-level implementation.
  • Create the yoga curriculum tailored to rural women, considering age groups, physical ability, cultural norms, and local contexts.
  • Integrate elements of breathwork, mindfulness, stress reduction, and lifestyle awareness where appropriate.
  • Lead end-to-end rollout of the programme across villages, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a cadre of women yoga instructors / community facilitators from local areas, including training-of-trainers programmes.
  • Establish clear SOPs for session delivery, safety, attendance, and community engagement.
  • Build trust and strong relationships with women participants, families, village leaders, and local institutions.
  • Work with panchayats, SHGs, ASHA workers, anganwadi workers, and NGOs to drive participation.
  • Define key programme KPIs related to reach, attendance, retention, facilitator performance.
  • Contribute to impact reports, case studies, and learning documentation.

What you’ll do:

Operations

  • Develop the overallprogramme framework, including objectives, curriculum structure, deliverymodels, and scale plan for village-level implementation.
  • Create the yogacurriculum tailored to rural women, considering age groups, physicalability, cultural norms, and local contexts.

  • Identify andactivate village-level spaces (schools, community centres, panchayatbuildings, Anganwadi’s, etc.) for yoga sessions.
  • Establish clear SOPsfor session delivery, safety, attendance, and community engagement.
  • Review and refinethe yoga changemaker selection and training plan
  • Oversee scheduling,logistics, and coordination for regular village yoga sessions.
  • Recruit, train, andmanage a cadre of women yoga instructors / community facilitators fromlocal areas wherever possible, including designing of training-of-trainers(ToT) programmes.

Community Engagement& Women’s Participation

  • Build trust andstrong relationships with women participants, families, village leaders,and local institutions.
  • Work closely withpanchayats, SHGs, ASHA workers, anganwadi workers, and local NGOs to driveparticipation and retention.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

· Formalcertification in Yoga (from a recognised institution); advanced or therapeuticyoga training preferred.
· Priorexperience working with women-focused programmes in Punjab or similarsocio-cultural contexts.

· Goodunderstanding of rural Punjab’s social and cultural dynamics.
· Excellentpeople management and community engagement skills.
· Abilityto execute with discipline and empathy.
· Comfortablewith extensive field travel and hands-on work in villages.
· Fluencyin Punjabi (mandatory); working knowledge of Hindi and English preferred.
