Job summary

Quotient Consultancy is recruiting a senior operations engineer for a leading bank. The role focuses on reliable, scalable systems with extensive GCP and Kubernetes expertise, plus strong DevOps discipline.

You will collaborate with product, development and security teams, mentor peers and drive best practices in incident management, logging and monitoring to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• B Tech in Computer Science or related field.
• 11-14 years of overall experience including production support on Google Cloud.
• 3-5 years hands-on Kubernetes exposure.
• 7+ years application and technical customer support experience.
• Basic SRE understanding and hands-on logging, alerting, monitoring.
• Containerization and GCP services knowledge.
• GCP Networking fundamentals and security basics.
• Container orchestration and Container Registry familiarity.
• Load balancing, auto scaling and database setup experience.
• Backup and recovery on GCP.

Responsibilities

• Operate team efficiently and implement best practices for system reliability.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure robust platforms.
• Identify and mitigate risks while staying current with technologies.
• Communicate with stakeholders and provide L3 operations support.
