Qualifications

• 7–11 years of software/product engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with scalable, secure web apps and microservices.
• Proficient in Python and/or Node.js; exposure to Golang or Rust is a plus.
• Strong understanding of OOAD, SOLID, design patterns, and clean coding.
• Experience designing databases with ER diagrams, data flows, and APIs.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Terraform and CloudWatch knowledge; GitHub/Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes experience.
• OAuth2, OIDC, SAML integrations; Agile/Scrum with JIRA/Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Desirable: AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Product Engineer with 7–11 years of software engineering experience to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

Requirements for the Role:-

• 7–11 years of experience in software/product engineering with strong hands-on development expertise.
• Strong experience building scalable and secure web applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Python and/or Node.js; exposure to Golang or Rust is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of OOAD, SOLID principles, design patterns, clean coding, and application architecture.
• Experience designing application databases, including ER diagrams, data flows, and API interactions.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools such as Terraform and CloudWatch.
• Strong working knowledge of GitHub/Azure DevOps, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum engineering practices and tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps.

• Own the design and implementation of REST APIs, backend services, microservices, and application integrations.
• Drive architecture and design decisions with an emphasis on scalability, security, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
• Build and guide the development of responsive, reusable, and maintainable front-end components.
• Lead application database design and ensure appropriate data models and integration patterns.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance to developers while remaining hands-on with development.
• Drive code quality through design reviews, code reviews, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, designers, and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in the complete product lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Optimize applications and services for performance and scalability.
• Establish and improve automated testing, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment practices.
• Drive effective adoption of CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native engineering practices.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and engineering bottlenecks and drive them toward resolution.
• Mentor engineers and help strengthen engineering practices across the team.
• Champion AI-assisted software-development workflows using tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot, including reusable development skills and agents where relevant.
