Job summary

Azilen Technologies seeks a senior full stack engineer to lead architecture, design and delivery of scalable enterprise SaaS platforms. You will own backend services while crafting intuitive frontend experiences and automations to boost developer productivity.

Bring 9+ years of experience, strong system design, and hands-on background with Rails or other modern stacks. You will collaborate with product and design to raise reliability and speed at scale.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in Full Stack Software Engineering, preferably in startups or high-growth environments.
• Hands-on backend with Rails (preferred), Python/Django, Node.js, Go, or Elixir.
• Strong system design, clean code, testing and code review practices.
• Experience building scalable APIs, distributed and cloud-native apps.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools like Copilot / Claude Code / Cursor.

Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications while driving engineering excellence through modern software development practices and AI-powered engineering workflows. This role is responsible for building robust backend services, intuitive frontend experiences, improving developer productivity through automation, ensuring application reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SaaS products.

Who You Are:

• 9+ years of experience in Full Stack Software Engineering, preferably in a startup or high-growth product environment.
• Hands-on experience with backend development using Ruby on Rails (preferred), Python/Django, Node.js, Go, or Elixir.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, clean coding principles, testing, and code review best practices.
• Experience building scalable APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
• Experience improving engineering productivity through automation, tooling, and developer experience initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting tools such as Datadog, New Relic, PagerDuty, or equivalent.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure and container technologies including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
