Job summary

NexTurn is seeking an accomplished senior software leader in Hyderabad to architect robust backend systems and drive full-stack initiatives. You will mentor engineers, coordinate with product and DevOps, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across cloud platforms.

You will actively contribute technically while steering teams through medium-to-large development efforts, balancing agile and waterfall practices, and aligning technical direction with business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in backend architecture, integration and full-stack development.
• Proficient in Python, Node.js, React and modern web frameworks.
• Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure; strong architectural patterns.
• Hands-on CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Terraform and related tools.
• Proven performance, capacity planning and scalability optimization skills.
• Experience in leading complex release cycles and deployment strategies.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL knowledge and data storage solutions.
• Hands-on with Jenkins, Harness or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Proficiency with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
• Hands-on with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• 12–14 years progressive software engineering and 8–10 years leadership in app development.
• Healthcare domain knowledge is a plus; cloud certs are beneficial.

• Minimum 12+ years of extensive experience in backend architecture, system integration, and full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, React, and web development frameworks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud services and architecture patterns
• Hands-on experience with Git Hub actions, Terraform, and other continuous integration/deployment platforms
• Proven skills in performance optimization, capacity planning, and scalability troubleshooting.
• Experience in managing complex release cycles and deployment strategies.
• Deep understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and modern data storage solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Harness, and other continuous integration/deployment platforms
• Proficiency with Dynatrace and other application performance monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
• 12–14 years of progressive experience in software engineering and application development.
• 8–10 years of proven leadership experience in application development, with a track record of building and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Recent and ongoing hands-on experience in software development, demonstrating the ability to contribute technically while managing teams.
• Experience in the US healthcare domain is an added advantage.
• Preferred Skillset: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud platform certifications would be an advantage.

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
• Successfully manage medium to large-scale development initiatives across both agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Establish and continuously improve development processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Take informed architectural decisions regarding technology stack, design patterns, and development methodologies.
